Work Experience

  • Managing Partner

    2022

https://antigravity.capital A new seed fund by me and Gadi Borovich. Our mission is to back an emerging generation of software startups that are harnessing the power of AI to supercharge how they enter markets and grow. We are not an AI-centric fund; instead, we believe that the best new software companies will be uniquely adept at leveraging AI tools across the entire business, from product development to operations. We have a true-seed stage focus, investing in early software product startups and obsessively helping them in their pursuit of product-market fit.

2007 - 2018

  • CEO, Cofounder

    2007 - 2018

Cofounded Disqus and was CEO through its acquisition at the end of 2017. Disqus is the #1 audience platform on the open web and (I'm pretty sure) has one of the largest audiences on the Internet, reaching 2 billion uniques every month. Backed by Union Square Ventures, Y Combinator, North Bridge Venture Partners, Iris Capital, and more. Started Disqus as a passion project to think about the future of online communities and their impact on media. Initially worked on frontend development, product design, business development, and strategy. Since then we've grown into a company of great creators, and I get to work with some of the best online publishers, marketers, developers, and designers to evolve Disqus into the most popular way that people discuss content across the open web. Through Disqus, I also have the opportunity to spend a lot of time writing and speaking about digital media, online publishing, consumer products, and startups.
