    Scottish Athletics Ltd is the National Governing Body for Athletics in Scotland. It is affiliated to UK Athletics, which is in turn affiliated to World Athletics. Scottish Athletics is an organisation made up of its member clubs. There are approximately 150 athletics clubs across Scotland – offering opportunities for people of all ages to try out, train, embrace and compete in the various disciplines of athletics – and at all levels from jogging (through the jogscotland network) to Olympic and Commonwealth Games levels.

    SIS Ventures is a wholly owned, fund management, subsidiary of Social Investment Scotland. The fund aims to deploy half of its capital to a debt product for regulated social sector organisations, in line with the conditions of SITR. This will be invested as loans, with patient repayment periods, in asset locked social enterprises who require access to risk capital. The remainder of the capital will be invested as equity in mission driven businesses, essentially limited companies with a clear impact intent and mission lock. SIS Ventures will provide a mechanism to generate both social and financial returns and unlocking a significant amount of untapped capital for the sector. Social Investment Scotland is a charity and social enterprise which provides investment for other charities and social enterprises looking to make a positive impact on people’s lives, society or the environment. Since it started in 2001, Social Investment Scotland has invested nearly £60 million in organisations across Scotland.
