Master thesis title: A Virtual Model Controller with Contact Force Distribution for an Ultra-light Legged Robot. Design, implementation, simulation, and hardware testing of a virtual model controller on the hexapod MAX. Development of a single leg admittance controller for position and velocity controlled actuators.

    Supervisors: Prof. Dr. M. Meboldt, PDZ, ETH Zurich, Switzerland and Mario Grazioli, Business Unit Direct Fastening and Screw Fastening, Hilti AG, Liechtenstein. Researched, developed, and simulated next generation direct fastening tool based on tool design BX-3 ME. Organized manufacturing, assembled, and hardware tested resulting prototype. The redesigned tool showed a significant improvement in fastening quality in challenging concrete application.
