Owner of several websites and mobile applications designed to solve unmet needs in the marketplace. BooksForTigers.com – RIT students can now find the textbooks that they need for the cheapest price across the internet in a matter of seconds. Previously, the workflow to find just the textbook that was required took several minutes. The technologies utilized were PHP, jQuery, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and a Ubuntu 10.4 server.

Software Engineer Co-Op

2011 - 2012

Assisted in the development and architecture of a content conversion and delivery system that delivers law publications to law students across different mediums. The system converted Word documents into HTML5 for e-readers and well-formed XML for Thomson Reuter’s WestlawNext product.

Technical Co-Op

Worked primarily with the internal search optimization team. Tasks included writing scripts to analyze log files to improve search performance, implementing Google features into a custom interface, and investigating new possibilities and pursuing their implementation.
