As a member of Huron Healthcare I had the ideal opportunity to combine both of my undergraduate concentrations, business administration and healthcare management, in a unique way that allowed me to deliver value to some of the top medical facilities and healthcare systems in the country. As an analyst and associate with the firm I developed a specific focus on hospital and healthcare finance. In these capacities I was able to refine my business acumen in the realms of finance, resource management, strategy, and overall organizational leadership. The healthcare industry proved to be a very exciting and rapidly changing backdrop against which to develop these skills.

VHSI identifies, designs and implements custom home healthcare solutions for our clients ranging from combinations of light housekeeping and companionship to live-in RN assistance and private duty. As the Directory of Strategy and Business Development I leveraged a concurrent role in consulting to build strategic relationships, advise and manage the implementation of development initiatives related to organizational growth. *I worked here while working as a management consultant for Huron Healthcare.

    Through the Gilman International Scholarship Program I undertook the study of a new language while conducting international health research. I took advantage of a rare opportunity to return to Asia and to study and learn in an international environment with hopes of adding to my working skill set and furthering my professional development.
