Work Experience

  • Venture Partner

    2020

Tuesday Capital is an early stage, sector agnostic venture capital firm based in San Francisco. I established and led frog's collaboration across funds III and IV, and continue to source and support new investments from our current fund V, with a particular focus on sustainability and climate tech opportunities in the EU and US.

    2018

ICAT is one of the seven Research Institutes at Virginia Tech. We are a collection of artists, designers, engineers, and scientists fostering creativity and promoting critical reflection, without regard for discipline boundaries or limitations.

2013 - 2023

  • Founder & Global Head of Ventures, Vice President of Design

    2013 - 2023

I joined frog to found and lead the firm’s first Venture practice. Our work spans Corporate Venture Building for some of the world’s largest organizations, as well as Startup Growth collaborations, working hand-in-hand with 100’s of remarkable VC-backed founders. Standing behind work and convictions, we made investments in over 35 early stage startups, delivering financial performance rivaling traditional VC. I established and led our long term partnership with Tuesday Capital, scaling both our footprint and investment capacity in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Venture practice continues to play a strategic role in the continuing evolution of the firm, contributing to significant advances in our working methods, delivery capabilities and market positioning.

  • Cofounder & Executive Sponsor, Global Sustainability Practice

    2017 - 2022

Collaborated with a global team to re-found frog’s long standing Social Impact practice with a broader remit to also address our parallel climate and environmental crises. Critically, this included fundamentally reprioritizing this essential work within our internal operations and external engagements, championing the development of significant new skill sets, supporting a new client & partner base with a potent set of new offerings and accelerating this work through both our startup investments and corporate venture building.

Jimmyjane designs products and experiences to provide pleasure, strengthen connection and create provocative possibility. The company recognizes that sexuality plays a vital role in our overall health and wellbeing, and leverages design, innovation and wit to deliver unprecedented products that define new standards of quality, efficacy and – of course – enjoyment. Jimmyjane is the only brand of its kind to be honored with the world’s top design awards (IDEA Awards from Fast Company and BusinessWeek, GOOD Design Awards, AIGA Awards, Spark Awards) and to appear regularly in leading media outlets, including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, GQ, The Atlantic, New York Times and London Times. Jimmyjane leads by example, remapping our experience and expectations of sexual products, elevating the category into the mainstream spotlight and inviting candor and levity in our relationship to sex and to one another.
