I joined Uber in 2012 as their second Product Manager leading the Driver Experience team through a period of rapid expansion and internationalization. We built full stack automation tools to scale our supply worldwide; it included partner drivers onboarding tools, payments and billing systems, communication tools, and drivers engagement initiatives and quality dashboards. In 2014, I started the Employee Experience team, hiring and leading a team of product managers, designers and engineers and working closely with the People Operations team to support employee growth and productivity worldwide. We created tools to efficiently recruit and onboard full-time employees and customer support representatives alike; as well as a company directory, and performance and career management tools. On top of all this, we built a Hadoop framework and visualization tools to aggregate employee data and drive better business and product decisions.
