  • Director of Product Management

    2016 - 2019

Apptio provides SaaS applications for cost analytics, business alignment, budgeting & forecasting and performance management – core requirements to manage IT as a business function. As Director of Product Management, I led a team of product managers focused on evolving the company’s flagship cost transparency platform. I led the evolution of the platform from both run the business and change the business perspective. This included revenue impacting major product improvements and bottom-line profit impacting initiatives like migrating our infrastructure to lower TCO container based, micro services-oriented cloud deployment. Beyond this I also led multiple successful business initiatives: Led transformation from providing analytics to actionable insights, led a strategic initiative to embed a leading iPaaS solution to automate data ingress, Launched Apptio’s cross-company BI program partnering with business and technical leaders to define and measure key business & engagement metrics.

  • Principal Product Manager - Azure Data Factory, Azure Cloud Telemetry Group

    2014 - 2016

I worked on a couple of key initiatives in Azure Group: The Azure Data Factory (ADF) Group and Azure Cloud Telemetry Group Data Factory: Data Factory is a petabyte-scale service for loading the enterprise data warehouse in the cloud and building intelligent apps powered by machine learning. • Led the team in developing the business, technical plan and GTM for V2 of the cloud service (ADF V2). • ADF V2 dramatically expanded the TAM for Azure Data by providing key control flow patterns in addition to dataflow patterns. Cloud Telemetry Group: The cloud telemetry service was the internal system for ingesting massive amount of event exhaust (up to 2B events per minute) from all Microsoft services and providing experiences for mission critical operational and business insights. • Led the transformational change across the entire company to fundamentally improve how cloud services attain high availability through low latency metrics-based monitoring. • Responsible for product roadmap, managing customer base across several business units.
