• Managed the records and progress of new fellows training, new invention disclosures, and licensing officer requests. • Assessed the patentability of inventions proposed by members of the University of Pennsylvania academic community that spanned topics such as diagnostic tools and techniques, therapeutics, biomedical devices, and digital applications. • Analyzed proposed inventions for qualities such as their innovation, marketability, and technical advancements in comparison to prior arts. • Assisted in the development of commercialization strategies for Penn technologies that ranged from theoretical designs to fully developed product prototypes and therapeutics.

I have my PhD. in the pharmacology with a focus on cardiovascular and hematologic pharmacology. My thesis work focused in a hematology lab working on modeling, analyzing, and treating various cardiovascular and hematologic pathologies using a human cell based microfluidic system. The pathologies include but are not limited to heparin induced thrombocytopenia and inflammatory induce thrombosis.

• As VP of Consulting, I directly trained and managed 16 project directors, 30 project managers, and 180+ team members of the PBG on the following skills to serve 30 diverse healthcare and biotech companies: client logistics, project scoping, team management, primary research, secondary research, and general consulting techniques. • Served on executive board sourcing committee that sourced 30 semester-long consulting projects for 200+ post-doctoral, master's, MBA, and Ph.D. students, serving real life clients that ranged from university start-ups to Fortune 500 medical device companies. • Lead the executive board staffing committee in collating and analyzing 200+ applications from potential project directors, project managers and team members to be staffed based on their prior experiences, education, and prior PBG team member evaluations. • Created, updated, implemented, and analyzed PBG surveys for inter-team evaluations, client feedback, and suggested improvements on PBG leadership and training. Survey results were utilized for project staffing, project sourcing, and improving PBG service to both students and clients.

• Directed 2 project managers whom each led 6-member teams in successfully completing consulting projects for a small pharma company developing a novel cancer therapeutic and a $10+ billion biotech company aiming to optimize their product training program. • Provided the pharmaceutical client with a market analysis and product development strategy resulting in the submission of an NIH SBIR grant application. • Provided the biotech client with a strategy based on primary research and the analysis of competitor programs resulting in a program overhaul to maximize training efficacy.

• Coordinated and developed a project scope with the client, a $20+ billion medical equipment company. • Led a 6-member team in performing in-depth case studies of five companies whom had successfully balanced their value and premium product brands in emerging markets. • Presented the client with a marketing strategy to achieve the greatest value in balancing their recently acquired value and premium brands in 3 emerging product markets.

• Operated on a 4-member team evaluating potential FDA hurdles for an early-stage startup developing two novel skin pigment altering therapeutics. • Offered the client potential pathology indications in pursuit of FDA approval, potential institutional funding sources, and strategies for enticing venture capitalist.

• Worked on a 4-member team, for a $10+ billion company, responsible for analyzing emerging markets and proposing device modifications to optimize their electrosurgical product portfolio against potential competitors. • Contributed an analysis of 40+ devices based on innovation, cost, and marketability culminating in three device modification strategies for entering three untapped, emerging markets.
