The Office of Capital Markets was formed during the financial crisis to bring people with private-sector markets experience to Treasury, and advises on all financial markets-related policy. Worked on issues including components of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Orderly Liquidation Authority and the Central Clearing of OTC Derivatives), a retrospective of past financial crises (both US and international), and the JOBS Act.

Managed process to sell iPay, a portfolio company of Bain Capital Ventures and Spectrum Equity Investors, resulting in $300M acquisition by Jack Henry & Associates in June 2010. iPay provides a SaaS solution for online bill payment and remittance, allowing users to make any payment they like directly from their bank’s internet banking portal.
