I was also a member of the ELM Research & Strategy consulting group, which provided PhD-level research and feasibility studies to organizations such as the University of California at Berkeley and the City of San Francisco (for which we explored the feasibility of a pioneering health insurance project which was a trailblazer toward universal healthcare.)
