    • Key founding member of the Yahoo! Connected TV business unit, and one of the core recipients of a 2011 Engineering Emmy Award for establishing and growing the broader Internet TV marketplace. • Responsible from day 1 for the Smart TV Product Strategy and Execution. Defined and built the world’s first white-labelled OTT Internet TV operating system and TV App platform for mass-market consumer TV sets. • Scaled the business with an OEM Certification Program and a 3rd Party Developer SDK, which grew distribution to 5.5M Smart TVs by VIZIO, Samsung, LG, Sony, Toshiba, TCL and HiSense, reaching 3M monthly active users. • Built Yahoo’s mission-critical Smart TV Audience Analytics System, providing one of the first real time TV measurement alternatives to Nielsen with higher accuracy than home panels. • Directly managed the entire development of VIZIO’s “VIA” Smart TVs (launched at SuperBowl 2010, over 40% market share), the original LG Netcast Smart TVs (launched at CES 2009), and the Intel Widget Channel (2008). • Launched an iOS & Android companion mobile app to interact with Internet content on Smart TVs. • US Patent 9,179,086 for the Smart TV operating system and user interface (granted 2015). • 2010 Yahoo! “You Rock Award”.

    • Migrated the Emmy award-winning Moxi TV multi-room DVR software environment to the CableLabs OCAP industry standard, which was critically important to winning Comcast and Time Warner Cable’s business. • Headed all Digital TV standard activities with CableLabs, NCTA, Comcast RNG, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), and the High Definition Audio-Video Network Alliance (HANA).

    • Built the first implementation of the CableLabs Open Cable Application Platform (OCAP) industry standard for Time Warner Cable and Comcast digital set-top boxes, managing a team of 42 engineers across 3 time zones.
