He manages business strategy, product, marketing, and development of new products to help creative entrepreneurs scale their operations and grow their businesses. The Maker Innovation group launched Pattern, a new business that gives Etsy sellers the ability to create their own hosted e-commerce storefronts. With an easy-setup experience, modern and stylish themes, and co-branded checkout, sellers can merchandise and manage their brand identity and presence on the internet. Prior to Pattern, Joe, lead the team building Fund on Etsy, a new crowdfunding pilot program intended to help designers raise funds to build new products or grow their businesses.
