Capnamic Ventures is an independent multi-corporate Venture Capital fund, managed by Jörg Binnenbrücker and Christian Siegele, with a clear focus on scalable business models in the digital media realm. The new multi-investor fund is backed by well-known corporate investors such as Universal Music, Rheinische Post, Mediengruppe M. DuMont Schauberg, NRW.BANK, Nord-West Zeitung, HR Alpha GmbH and Gauselmann AG. Other investors include successful family offices such as Wecken & Cie. and usbaecker capital GmbH. Capnamic Ventures’ multi-corporate concept is the ideal basis for early stage investments, as portfolio companies profit from the extensive networks and competences provided by the investor base. In addition to its own fund Capnamic Ventures will take over management of the entire portfolio of DuMont Venture, the investment vehicle of M. DuMont Schauberg, currently holding over 20 portfolio companies.
