Jose Maria Blanc is a Managing Director of Intel Capital, representing Intel’s Treasury Group, and a voting member of Intel Capital’s Investment Committee. Jose-Maria currently focuses on minority equity investments in consumer internet, mobility, manufacturing technologies, digital health and clean tech. He is on the board of directors of gaming company Crowdstar, semiconductor Nexplanar Corp and a board observer in display maker Viewsonic Corp. and chip maker Chrontel Inc. Before joining Intel Capital in 1989, Jose Maria was a Director of Granville Holdings Plc, a London-based pan-European private-equity and investment group. Prior to that he was a vice-president of Merrill Lynch Emerging Growth Companies in New York and London, and an associate of McKinsey & Company in New York. He received a law degree from ICADE-Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Spain and an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School.
