Ag Ventures is organized as an Iowa Section 501 Cooperative (value-added cooperative)As farmers and agriculture related individuals, the members of Ag Ventures Alliance (AgVA) are taking control of their economic future by participating in value-added agriculture businesses. It will accomplish this by creating new value-added agriculture businesses and helping existing value-added businesses expand. Ag Ventures supports ventures that: •Provide economically sound business opportunities for its members. •Produce high quality products that are safe for consumers. •Meet the changing needs and desires of consumers. •Practice high ethical business standards. •Respect and protect the environment AgVA’s primary purpose is not to create jobs and other economic activity for a geographic area but to create successful businesses for investors and locate them where they can be most successful.

I set up Central Lowland Management in October as a venture capital management firm. We are currently raising a small, early stage venture capital fund focused on investing in agricultural technologies in the Upper Midwest. Once raised and operational we have plans to raise other small industry focused funds.

Entrepreneurial Advisors, Inc. povides, mentoring, coaching and planning services to Midwest entrepreneurs. We also provide interim executives to growing companies turn-around advise to distressed businesses. Finally, we provide consulting services to incubators, accelerators, angel groups, holders of IP portfolios and others involved in entreprenurial activities.
