Our mission is twofold: to educate entrepreneurs and launch successful businesses. The program provides a platform for early-stage ventures to accelerate their growth with a business planning framework, hands-on coaching, industry and investor connections, and non-equity seed funding. Launched ventures have gone on to raise over $80 million in funding.

    • Overhauled the migrations process by building a new measurement system to track employees and associated expenditure by business, decreased the amount of data managed by 2/3 through formulas and vlookups, and used excel to consolidate the data into pivot tables and to build financial statements • Led the cost allocation team in presenting the quarter-close and year-end numbers to upper-level financial managers, assisted in 2016 financial planning, executed billing through the IBS software system, managed regional uploads into Hyperion, and led the quarter-close tie-out process • Worked with a team of five finance and IT employees outside of regular work hours to consolidate and analyze all of GE’s financial data contained in the “Data Lake” into a usable dashboard for finance managers, completed a weekly macroeconomic newsletter, and participated on the professional development and community service committees • Developed a new template for the consolidation of expenditures to present to finance managers in each business • Built five comprehensive guides for the FMP role and trained the team in Hyperion, IBS, and Financial Intelligence
