The primary objective is to maintain transparency and public confidence in the work of charities and the use of their resources. Achievements: • Worked with a variety of non-profits and charities that support education, health, human rights, the environment, and the arts. E.g. Greenpeace, Refugee Action, the Moshi Foundation • Prepared annual reports and completed detailed audit tests related to funds, reserves, income, assets, debt and payroll • Liaised with clients to clarify situations of inaccurate and unavailable accounting records to obtain further information under time pressure • Documented and tested the effectiveness of all finance and governance related systems and controls and conducted sustainability checks based on the ‘going concern principle’ • Managed content and drafted firm’s nfp monthly e-newsletter
