Editor of volume on the defense budget which featured contributions from former Secretaries of Defense, Deputy Secretaries of Defense, National Security Advisors, retired four-star generals, the former Chair of the House Armed Services Committee, and other experts. Volume was an outgrowth of a conference I co-convened in January 2023. Also serve as member of the Hoover Institution Working Group on the Defense Budget. Coauthored a Wall Street Journal op-ed based on the volume.

Help companies quantify and avert catastrophic cyber loss scenarios. Authored Harvard Business Review article which detailed three strategies companies should employ to mitigate software supply chain risks.

Silverado Policy Accelerator funds innovative policy ideas and was started by Dmitri Alperovitch, the co-founder of Crowdstrike, the world's largest cybersecurity company. I helped craft the organization's investment thesis and commissioned public opinion polling on cybersecurity issues.

Conducted first econometric study on bug bounty programs, which enable companies to compensate freelance security researchers that hunt for cyber vulnerabilities on corporate IT databases. Research influenced HackerOne bug bounty program management and was published in the Journal of Cybersecurity.

Course Designer and Teaching Assistant, Living at the Nuclear Brink

A primary designer and TA of Living at the Nuclear Brink, an online course taught by former Secretary of Defense Bill Perry about past and present nuclear dangers, which had over 3,000 participants from around the world. Course is set to be featured in training modules for Air Force officers.
