Henriette Høj Gharib called me on the phone and pitched the idea of Fairytell: A digital universe of quality e- and audiobooks for 0-10 year olds - wrapped in a fun and engaging kid-focused app. I jumped on board and a true adventure begun 👸🐉 We launched the first version of the app after 6 months of hard work. In 2018 we leapt into the Swedish market with our own app - and a whitelabel solution for SF Studios (SF Kids Play). In 2019 we launched another whitelabel solution for Viacom's Nickelodeon brand (Nick Stories) in Denmark and Sweden, as well as Sky Kids for Sky Switzerland (including video and live TV streaming). In June 2021 Fairytell was acquired by Podimo - a fastgrowing Danish podcast platform. Within just a few months Podimo launched a Kids Universe inside the Podimo app based on the Fairytell SDK and more Kids than ever are now enjoying great content and quality e- and audiobooks.
