I am professor of computer information systems at Georgia State University. I teach a graduate course on digital innovation. My research explores the varied ways in which digital technologies facilitate innovation. I am also an angel investor who has a strong belief in the power of technology to help us tackle the big challenges facing society (poverty, affordable housing, financial access) and the planet (cleantech, agtech). I enjoy talking to founders who are devoting their energy to tackle such challenges.

I primarily teach at the Masters and PhD level. I teach an MBA core course on digital innovation, an executive master's course on global systems sourcing, and a doctoral seminar on digitally-enabled collectives and multiple levels.

2010 - 2014

I was Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems in the College of Business at the University of Louisville. I taught the introductory course to computer programming in C# to undergraduates. I also taught a technology management course in the MBA program.

Visiting Professor

2011 - 2011

Primarily conducted research with UQ faculty. Taught a brief tutorial on multilevel theory to doctoral students. Also presented my ongoing research.

Assistant Professor

2004 - 2010

I was Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Information Systems Department of the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. During my time there, I taught the introductory course to computer programming in VB.NET and advanced programming using Java to undergraduate students. At the graduate level, I taught enterprise resource planning (ERP) fundamentals to Master's students. I also taught several PhD courses on various topics including team work and team management in information systems, information systems strategy, and how to conduct research projects.

Primarily conducted research with faculty in the School of Management. Also presented my ongoing research.

Visiting Professor

2008 - 2008

Conducted research with HKUST faculty and taught a three-day workshop on multilevel theory and analysis to doctoral students.
