I conducted financial due diligence, and market research, engaged with key stakeholders and presented to the investment committee.

simple.Capital() was created to make it simple and accessible for investors to get access to the Venture Capital asset class. As the Head of Product, my role was to build and investment platform that facilitates the process of investing in this asset class, allows you to see your portfolio, receive updates from the the underlying companies as well as host a secondary market where investors are able to list their shares on a marketplace and get liquidity in an extremely illiquid asset class.

In the Investment Team, I was initially tasked with deal origination in London and the wider UK. As I got more involved, I participated in all stages of the investment process including due diligence and presenting to the investment committee.

INN Zero waste is an online zero waste grocery store that delivers food and cleaning products in reusable and refillable packaging. Our mission is to make it simple and accessible to reduce the amount of packaging waste in your life. My co-founders and I scaled the business to : - Deliver thousands of orders across the UK - Innovated to create flatpack packaging that could be returned cheaply and easily. - Designed and developed custom software for complex backend operations. We sold the business to a growing zero waste grocery store.

Working within the investment team of the UK’s most active investor in private companies, successfully leading and completing numerous equity fundraises in this time. Responsible for managing all elements of a company’s financing round, from start to close. This includes; strategy, pitch development, legal & financial structuring / negotiation (term sheets, shareholder agreements, etc.), due diligence, regulatory compliance, and all other relevant tasks.

Axyon AI is a FinTech company that uses AI and specifically deep learning to create highly predictive models for financial institutions. We are currently focusing on the syndicated loan market for investment banking and asset allocation for asset managers.
