Materials Nexus is using AI to discover and develop the next generation of new materials which are less rare, cheaper to produce and have improved sustainability characteristics. Rare earth and precious materials are required for many products associated with the energy transition ranging from batteries, electric motors, wind turbine rotors and much of consumer electronics. But many of these materials are increasing in price associated with increased demand which is slowing the transition.

One third of all forests that our planet lost in the last 20 years, were lost due to forest fires. Quiron monitors and analyses satellites images of forests and then identifies threats before they happen. Quiron's artificial intelligence engine predicts forest fires (for up to ten days with a precision of ten by then meters), monitors forest health, does soil mapping, strategically prospects new areas and monitors harvesting or deforestation. They help decrease losses and increase gains with predictive analytics.
