Co-founded the Access team; a cross-functional product, policy, and engineering team. The team evolved to Google Fiber, which is currently working to bring gigabit 'Fiber to the Home' to Kansas City, Austin and Provo, Utah. In wireless access, Google is working to make TV White Spaces available for unlicensed use, and successfully lobbied to establish openness conditions on the 700 MHz auction (and bid $4.6B for the spectrum). My involvement in Access began with the deployment of a citywide muni Wi-Fi network covering the city of Mountain View, CA. I also worked in search quality at Google, developing a platform to compare Google search results to competitors’. Prior to search quality, I was a product manager on AdWords, responsible for the audit of Google's billing system with a focus on automated budgets.
