Facilitated publication of >50 due diligence reports, averaging 1-3 per month, for companies in a variety of life science, technology, and consumer product industries, working with volunteer teams of investors. Created Due Diligence Workshop to provide due diligence education to investors and founders via lectures, guest speakers, and exercises meant to identify and brainstorm solutions to common risks that appear during due diligence. Lead the Term Sheet Committee to review financing documents and interpret term sheets, develop template term sheets, advise companies and investors on financing terms and best practices, and facilitate negotiation of deal terms. Assist in due diligence by collaborating with startups and investors to research competitors and exit comparables, validate and stress test financial model and exit assumptions, interview founders, assess gaps within a company’s management team and other company needs, review USPTO filings, etc.
