The role involves supporting mid to long term strategy planning for the group businesses, M&A, Private equity fund raise, Startup investments, building of new ventures etc., Strategic direction and portfolio view of group companies & assets  Have built a strategic portfolio canvas, metrics, and direction to build a portfolio of assets from shareholders value creation perspective  Supporting and monitoring executing the portfolio canvas working closely with board and CXOs Start up investments  Have invested in 25 + ventures including a venture that has turned into Unicorn  Investments spread across sectors like Visual AI, D2C brand and allied technologies, Fintech, Digital lending, EV etc.,  Successfully co led the investment syndicate for 2 ventures that got over subscribed during fund raise  Successfully exited in 3 ventures with returns ranging from 1.5X to 3X  Around 5 ventures are in the next round fund raise discussions leading to value accretion  Experienced shutdown and written down value exit in 4 ventures M&As and Equity fund raise  Work closely with Chairman, Board members, CXOs on Equity fund raise and M&As  Have developed an approach for inorganic growth route and evaluation framework for M&A targets  Have built a team that manages the end-to-end M&A, fund raise process from investor pitches, DD to financial closure  Continuously working on both sell and buy side fund raise and M&As

Co-founded a boutique management advisory firm, Coeus Consultancy Private Limited along with core team members of strategy team. The firm offered business advisory and transaction advisory services for both Muthiah group and other Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) outside the group. Operation of the firm was a parallel assignment to the job in Spic Ltd., Handled end to end transaction of divestment of a business services company of transaction value more than Rs.150 Cr, that involved preparation of all investment collaterals, prospecting of interested investors, price discovery through bid route of Non-Binding Offer (NBO), setting up of virtual data room, managing due diligence and support in finalization of term sheet.
