The Rabobank Global Traineeship is focused on getting to know the bank from several angles. During the course of the traineeship I worked at four departments while regularly having trainings on personal development (e.g. storytelling and negotiating) and hard skills (e.g. financial modeling). Rotation 1: Startup Innovation The Startup Innovation team sources early-stage Food & AgTech ventures for Rabobank’s innovation platform FoodBytes! During this rotation I mainly worked on professionalizing the database with text mining tools. Rotation 2: Client Coverage Large Corporates - Energy Transition and Circularity During this rotation I drafted Rabobank’s (NL&A) Transport & Logistics ambition paper. Rotation 3: Sustainable Debt Capital Markets Sustainable DCM advices clients on implementing sustainability in their debt structures, treasury portfolio, and corporate strategies. During this rotation I worked as an analyst. Sector Développement Territorial de l'Economie et du Tourisme (Sector of Territorial Development of the Economy and Tourism) - Research internship focused on policy-based problems regarding the domestic implementation of tghe EU program l'Emploi d'Avenir (EdA, Work of the Future). - EdA contains job integration contracts for people who have a little chance of employment due to a lack of training and geographical origin. The aim of EdA is to facilitate a lasting participation of the young citizens on the EU labor market. - I did quantitative research to the execution of EdA in the Ariège to tackle related issues.
