To take this work to scale, CEI has launched its first gender justice fund of $75 million to provide debt capital to businesses in South and Southeast Asia to improve the economic conditions of women workers, consumers and business owners.

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) was established in 1938 by City of Los Angeles Resolution No. 1241. HACLA has grown to become one of the nation’s largest and leading public housing authorities, providing the largest supply of quality affordable housing to residents of the City of Los Angeles. HACLA's annual budget is more than $ 1 billion. The Housing Authority is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners (the "Board") that is responsible for policy, fiscal management and the appointment of the President and Chief Executive Officer. Five Commissioners serve four-year terms. Two Commissioners, who serve two-year terms must be residents of the Authority's housing projects. There is no limit on the number of terms a Commissioner may serve. Currently the HACLA board has 7 commissioners.
