Responsible for recommending equity investment strategies to the Investment Committee and implementing these once approved. Also responsible for developing complex financial models to monitor equity strategies and adjusting the portfolios on a regular basis according to market conditions. • Worked as an internal consultant to ensure regulatory compliance from the CONSAR (National Regulator for the Mexican Pension System) for using swaps in the portfolio strategy. • Outperformed the benchmark in 90% of the investment portfolios under my supervision during the last three years, generating returns from 50 to 100 basis points for our customers and ~US 1 million in annual revenue fees for BBVA Bancomer.

Private Bank Portfolio Manager

Responsible for managing 300 discretionary asset management accounts and recommending strategies to the Investment Committee to maximize returns. • Collaborated in the development of a business plan to migrate 10,000 trust funds from the government and private customers to an asset management approach with specific benchmarks. During the first phase, 60% of the funds were migrated generating more than US $400,000 in revenue fees for the asset management department.

Responsible for concentrating and executing all the orders from private bankportfolio managers and developing specific control systems and processes tooptimize back office operations. • Developed a comprehensive process to collect information and generatedetailed reports on the position and performance of investment portfolios. These reports were used on a daily basis by the senior management team.
