In this role, I made market-return generating impact investments. As transaction lead, I led the entire investment process from evaluation, due diligence, structuring, negotiations to closing for a committed deal volume of over $400 million in South Asia. I also actively managed a portfolio of investments of over $350 million in financial institutions and related entities. This included enabling value addition programs to enhance returns, manage risk and measure impact. Emphasis was placed in implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards to assist portfolio companies in achieving their goals.
