There are 1.5X more native Spanish speakers than English speakers, but the amount of audio content available in Spanish is 10X less. There will be an audio platform for the 480M+ native Spanish speakers who today are underserved in Spanish content, and Beek is the team building it. Beek has raised money from Y Combinator, Accel, Greylock, and top-tier industry operators like SVP Product at Disney+, multiple Netflix directors, and ex heads of growth and product at companies like Pinterest and Airbnb.

Beek started as a social network for booklovers in the Spanish speaking world. Beek reached over 2M monthly visits and 30x more Spanish book reviews than Amazon at the time, but didn't have a clear revenue model. In early 2019 Beek leveraged all the book review information it had to understad what topics people where interested in and pivoted to become an audio platform for the 480M native Spanish speakers. Today, Beek is the leading audio platform in Spanish with the mission to change people's lives through their headphones.

I was selected as the first Thiel Fellow in Latin America. The Thiel Fellowship grants $100K to people under 23 years old to drop out of college and build their startup.

Fundación México en Harvard, A.C's goals are to guarantee that all Mexicans admitted to graduate and post-graduate degree programs receive the financial support they need to attend. We seek to encourage an increasing number of Mexican students, researchers and scholars to apply for admission to Harvard by assuring them the economic means to pursue education. As an Ambassador my job is to identify all talented groups and areas within my university that could be a good fit for the organization, help with event planning and spread the word about news.
