In the first year of operations, we have established accounting systems and internal controls, GAAP accounting and metric driven operational reporting, solid cash controls, and reliable reporting. We've raised our second round of equity and mezzanine financing and secured senior lender support for our second platform acquisition which closed in December 2012.

Student Resources in headquartered in St. Petersburg, FL with operations in Plano, TX, and is the leading insurer of college and k-12 students in the United States. • CFO of UnitedHealthcare’s student insurance business, serving over 400,000 fully insured lives, over 1 million accident insurance lives, $400+ million annual revenue. • Led finance team for fast-growing line of business. (Sun Capital Partners portfolio company, >$100 million annual revenues, >$1 billion premium under management.) • Designed and executed a total redesign of internal reporting structures, successfully securing the support of key executives in each division to ensure support and ultimate success of the project, resulting in the creation of a profitability reporting matrix for a portfolio of over 200 client relationships. • Launched web-based budgeting and cost allocation tool (built in-house and utilizing Hyperion Planner ERP), shortening the planning process by half and allowing for ongoing pro-forma forecasting at the operating department level. • Developed a pricing strategy and analysis methodology leveraged in signing seven new clients with combined annual revenues of over $35 million. • Instrumental in completing three acquisitions with >$10 million revenues.
