  • Director of International Growth

    2019 - 2020

My mission as Director of International Growth, is to strategically plan, create and secure international expansion opportunities for the Start-Up Chile portfolio and other Chilean scale-ups. For this: 1) I locally represent the Go Global soft-landing program (created by ProChile and Corfo) where I manage a cross-border team of 4 Key Account Managers located in Perú, Colombia, México, and Miami that deliver the Start-Up Chile model abroad for our scale-ups. We support 60 scale-ups approx. per year, that grow into these 4 markets. 2) Advise in the selection process of the companies supported by Go Global and coordinate key-actors that can contribute through their experience, knowledge, and tools to the scale-ups success. 3) Oversee that the Start-Up Chile's portfolio succeeds in its international expansion efforts, everything ranging from market immersion knowledge to effectively matching international investors with the startup founders. We support 150-200 startups through our soft-landing program per year.

Head of International Networks & Scouting for Start-Up Chile. Manager of international networks (100+), soft-landing programs, and scouting efforts, assuring that great quality startups are selected for the program. Within this role, I secured a pipeline of great potential grant investments for the program of worldwide talented founders and promising businesses. About Start-Up Chile: Start-Up Chile is a program created by the Chilean Government that seeks to attract early-stage, high-potential entrepreneurs to bootstrap their startups using Chile as a platform to go global.
