During my internship at Maki.vc, I was involved with screening dealflow and sourcing investment opportunities, and evaluating these opportunities further. I also conducted market research and competitor analysis of various different fields and companies. What is more, I got to help our CFO with different financial and governance tasks and learn more about what finance at VC and startup companies look like. At Howspace, I did a lot of different tasks over the years. I met with clients and handled sales negotiations, helped with expansion to North American markets by e.g. acquiring the company’s first client in Canada. I have done different competitor analysis, and drafted various sales documents. At Howspace I also built processes to e.g. billing to support a fast-growing company. In addition to all this, I worked with our partners to leverage that growth engine to support Howspace as it scales.
