I lead turn-arounds and divestitures of investments in our IT, Telecom, Industrial Technology and Life Science portfolios. Key functions include: • Aligning stakeholders and working with financial advisors to position investee companies for divestiture. • Initiating and leading special committees of the board of directors through the divestiture process. • Developing and maintaining relationships with potential acquirers. • Championing the role of BDC’s Special Situations team as a best-in-class internal financial advisory group within BDC Venture Capital.

TBayTel is the incumbent telecommunications provider in the region of Thunder Bay, Ontario. It is the largest independently owned telecommunications company in Canada and has Northern Ontario’s largest 4G HSPA+ digital cellular coverage with a 300,000 square kilometre area. I have been the Chair of the Governance Committee the Strategy Committee, the HR Committee, the Audit Committee, the CEO Search Committee and the M&A Committee.
