Zoran was acquired by CSR (deal closed Aug 2011): Pre-close - Work with the CSR management/groups on shaping the integration plan and strategy of Zoran Home Entertainment business into CSR. Aggressive synergy goals were set to optimize operation and R&D. As the acquisition closed, drove several business and organization restructuring as per the agreed plan achieving the synergy targets. Helped in business and customer transition to various stakeholders at CSR.

Directed a P&L of multiple product lines (~$200M business) – digital TV, Set-Top-Box, receivers and multimedia products, including Marketing R&D and Applications Developed road map and Annual Operating Plans, drove quarterly revenue with sales. Member of the corporate executive team. Key Accomplishments: • Brought the Zoran Digital TV product line to number 1 share US market by developing a comprehensive product portfolio and solutions. • Drove the acquisition of Oren Semiconductor and Let-it-Wave to augment the technology needed to bridge gaps in demodulator and frame rate conversion technology. • Shifted the Set-Top-Box product line focus to the operator pay-TV segment by aligning product portfolio, conditional access security partners. • Developed business with operators in India, China and South America markets. Won major programs with Cisco and Samsung. Restructured and localized legacy businesses in China.

Managed all Zoran product development, DVD-player & recorders, camera and Set-Top-Box SOC and platforms. Drove product development and research to maximize differentiation under consumer market cost constraints. Integrated R&D teams as after acquisitions including Pixelcam, Nogateck and OAK Technology TV group. Key Accomplishments: Doubled the size of R&D in 3 years, brought key new technologies to Zoran in the space of optical drive and servo control as well as key expertise in image processing for Zoran camera product line. Drove major shift in technology starting from 018u to 80nm including back-end infrastructure, tools and IPs. Delivered to production several major consumer products. Key milestones: • First single integrated DVD chip with optical drive control, brought in servo and read-channel expertise; • Multiple single chip SOC for still-image camera market including generation addressing video compression • First DVD Recording chip with advanced video compression and optical drive control
