The lighting architecture integrates Solar Energy & LEDs with robust proprietary micro-processor based technology, to facilitate sustainable bright lighting after sunset. The Corporate vision is to alleviate light poverty for a million people by 2018. • Responsible for developing a global strategy for OFFGRID Solar/LED Lighting Solutions for the 1.2 Billion people living in “Darkness After Sunset”, in India, Africa and other parts of SE Asia • Successfully developed & deployed OFFGRID Solar/LED Home Lighting Systems & Street Lights in villages in Manipur & Andhra Pradesh • Role includes putting together an executive team for the mission critical business units, forging international alliances, development of a cohesive marketing strategy, sales channels and raising venture capital for driving the product to market

    A much needed sabbatical necessary to replenish the soul, and delve into working on other facets of the being that needed attention. Music, teaching, composing, reading, travelling, researching, film making and business consulting formed the concoction of this time-off mix! • Travelled to over 50 villages across South India to study lighting needs and usage patterns of kerosene lamps in OFFGRID terrains. Earthen Glow emerged on the basis of these travels and intense research. • Built sales strategies for organizations like KENEXA [AN IBM COMPANY] to launch their HR product line into the Indian space. Strategies included product positioning, developing sales pitches, building strategic alliances and competitive analysis • Composed music for 25 films in Tollywood [SOUTH INDIAN CINEMA] • Developed a programs for high school children to the experience the joy of singing. The children were taught voice techniques bundled with confidence building exercises that motivate them to build internal strength.
