    • Led a cross functional team of 13 to build a digital marketplace for direct selling • Within 6 weeks, we created a high quality, curated product catalog, set up a go-to-market strategy to acquire, onboard and activate new sellers and built a cross docking logistics network from scratch. • Managed the business unit’s P&L and reported to the CEO as part of the leadership team.

    Analysing the second hand fashion market in Latin America, we found that professional second-hand fashion sellers were primarily using social media as a sales channel. We understood that while social media allowed them to engage closely with their audience and create entertaining content, it lacked the structure and features needed for building scalable businesses. To address this, we created Ropstar - a video shopping marketplace that combines the fun and engaging aspects of social media with the tools needed for professional sellers to build loyal audiences, establish strong brands, and scale their businesses effectively. We built a cross-functional team of 20 and as CEO, my main responsibilities included fundraising, product strategy and vision, go-to-market and seller acquisition, operations and data.

    Nido is a fully managed room rental marketplace enabling affordable housing in Latin America and helping landlords manage their properties more efficiently. • As Head of Supply I was responsible for the acquisition, onboarding and growth of new apartments through partnerships with landlords and real estate firms • Set up and iterated the go-to-market strategy and managed the sales pipeline, leading a team of 5 business development managers. • Developed the legal framework for contractual relationships with suppliers and negotiated partnerships with major landlords and real estate brokerage firms to drive supply side growth.
