Remington Scott Productions (RSP) is the market leader in producing digital celebrities of Asia’s most recognized stars which have powered China’s first all CGI feature films. Recently RSP has created avatars of Leo Messi for the AI experience "Talk to Messi" and Jackie Chan for feature film. CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE Directed Performance Capture sessions featuring Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey. Worked within framework of new narrative structure that is more akin to a season of episodic television rather than a game or three act film. As a founding partner of MacInnes Scott, Remington Scott has contributed leadership experience in the development of digital human animation and his world class artistic and technical teams to win the Advanced Imaging Society's Lumiere Award for Best Augmented Reality Experience for Netflix's Altered Carbon global activation. He has produced and directed the VR experiences GRACE and E.K.I.A. (The US Navy Seal Raid on Osama Bin Laden). He oversaw the development of the first digital human to be registered on the blockchain and was instrumental in receiving an Epic Mega Grant for the David Bowie real-time experience at the Infinity Festival 2019.

As a Special Project Computer Graphic Supervisor, Remington has led the digital human team which has resulted in authoring several patents for Sony Pictures Imageworks including Capturing and Processing Facial Data Using Head Mounted Cameras (Patent US 7,606,392 & 2009/0324017) that describe methodologies for realistic digital human animation which can be seen in industry standard performance capture productions. For WATCHMEN, Remington designed the frame work for the facial capture pipeline, directed actor Billy Crudup on-set FACS session and animated Doc Manhattan facial performances. Remington has directed performance capture sessions for SPIDER-MAN 3. The facial pipeline, including rigging and animation was overseen by Remington, who was nominated by the Visual Effects Society for "Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Film". For the Academy Award Visual Effects nominated SUPERMAN RETURNS Remington directed Brandon Routh's (Clark Kent/Superman) facial capture and oversaw high level control. 2004 Best Visual Effects Academy Award winner, SPIDER-MAN 2, is Sony Pictures Imageworks’ first film to feature realistic principle digital human characters whose facial performances were motion captured. Remington directed capture sessions as well as created all facial animation for the film.

At Weta Digital, Remington supervised and defined the motion capture production for performance animation. THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS received the Academy Award for Achievement in Visual Effects for "Using computer motion capture system to create the split personality character of Gollum and Sméagol." -Keanu Reeves, Presenter, 75th Academy Awards Remington worked closely with Peter Jackson to bring Gollum and other digital characters of Middle Earth to life. Remingtons responsibilities included on-set supervision and direction at the capture soundstage as well as on-location. In order to ensure the highest quality of character performance animation, Remington supervised teams of performance animators for shots consisting of motion captured characters.

The Producer/Director of the multi-billion dollar FINAL FANTASY video game franchise, Hironobu Sakaguchi, tapped Remington as the department head of motion capture for his groundbreaking computer generated feature film, FINAL FANTASY: THE SPIRITS WITHIN, the first theatrically released animated film to use motion capture to create all the principle digital human performances. Remington produced, directed and supervised all performance capture at Square Pictures, Honolulu. In 2001, The Wachowski's. commissioned Square Pictures to create a short film companion piece to THE MATRIX: RELOADED that would expand the Matrix universe. THE ANI-MATRIX: FINAL FLIGHT OF THE OSIRIS, the all computer generated theatrically released short, again featured all motion captured characters that Remington produced and supervised.
