Founded E Solutions Corporation in 1997 as a provider of application development and large-scale global infrastructure deployments for enterprise customers including, PricewaterhouseCoopers, ExxonMobil, IBM, URS, Viacom, Vivendi, Essilor, and others. Dominant data center owner-operator throughout the Southeastern US. ESC was acquired in 2012 by cable and internet provider, Knology Inc. (NASDAQ KNOL). This was Knology’s only B2B acquisition and part of a larger acquisition four months later of Knology itself by Wide Open West (WOW!). Built, grew, acquired and spun off several E Solutions Corporation subsidiary companies including: • E Solutions Networks • ScoutAdvisor® Corporation (AKA Moneyball) • Excel Sports Officiating • HostingAmerica • SiteLogic • Aperian Data Centers • Genuity Data Centers • Several Additional Acquisitions • E Solutions Corporation expanded into the data center business in 2002 as a data center owner-operator providing complex hosting services to clients ranging from global Fortune 100 firms to SMBs. Services at the company’s SSAE 16 Certified Tier III, 30,000 square foot data centers include: colocation and fully managed enterprise-level hosting services, SaaS, network management and security. • ScoutAdvisor® Corporation founded in 1998 as a subsidiary of ESC. SA designed and built the ScoutAdvisor® statistical analysis (Sabermetrics) and front office management system used by 22 out of 30 Major League Baseball (MLB) teams. This is the analytical software that was featured in the movie and book, Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game, by Michael Lewis. • Excel Sports Officiating Co-founded in 2004. ESO provides services targeted to over 300,000 sports officials in the United States and Japan at the high school to NCAA and professional levels. Services offered include online training materials, online examinations and official certification. In 2008, ESO was acquired by the NCAA.
