Transformed a team of 48 to a team of 22 while simultaneously improving incident response and resolution times by moving individuals and resolution responsibility into Engineering towers. Directed the Telecom Change Management organization, which produced a more than 99.8% successful change rate while averaging more than 1,000 changes per month. Created a production tools management team, reducing false positives by more than 80% and allowing the company to leverage its investment in monitoring tools more productively. Senior Manager, Unified Communications 2013 – 2016 Directed architecting, engineering, deployment, and operations for unified communications technologies (instant messaging, presence, softphone, and web collaboration) using products from Cisco and Microsoft. Migrated instant messaging, telephony, web-sharing and presence infrastructure to Microsoft Skype for Business from Cisco WebEx Connect for more than 100,000 users. Completed a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking vendor selection, core build-out, and traffic migration globally with savings of more than $5 million annually.
