(Acquired by Jive) Speek provides a simple and smarter way to do conference calls. Teams can have unlimited conference calling that comes with call controls that allow you to see who’s joined, see who’s talking, share files, share their screen, record calls, add/remove/mute participants, and more. Participants can join by having us call them, dial-in and PIN, VoIP in the browser, or our mobile apps. Speek is a venture-backed company that has been named one of Wall Street Journal's "Top 20 Startups of the Year in 2013", Entrepreneur Magazine's "100 Most Brilliant Companies", and PCMag's "Top 100 Websites". As part of my role at Speek I: • Worked closely with the COO (Konrad Waliszewski) and CEO (John Bracken) to negotiate business development deals • Researched and initiated contact with potential acquirers, one of which eventually acquired the company (Jive) • Sourced and evaluated partnership opportunities • Created and maintained a model to project future growth for the executive team • Helped source and work deal with a UK conferencing company expected to gross 30-50k/mo revenue and cut European conferencing fees • Collaborated with the VP of Sales to develop innovative lead-generation techniques • Assisted in developing an outbound sales strategy that significantly increased sales revenue.
