SuperFeed Labs is a full-service digital media company specializing in efficient viral growth and responding to emails in a somewhat timely fashion. Our editorial-focused machine learning helps us generate over 30M+ monthly unique visitors using a fraction of the resources it takes other publishers to do the same. I personally led all technical development and management of our websites and tools. Our original website, PizzaBottle, grew to 30M+ monthly uniques and the 54th most visited mobile website in the United States.

As a software engineer at Gyroscope, I implemented new features and improved existing functionality in the Go backend and Python frontend. I also was the primary systems administrator. As a sysadmin, I improved existing operations by adding automation and enhancing existing monitoring systems. I also successfully migrated all operations from the AWS us-east-1 region to us-west-2 while adding in fault tolerance at every level of the infrastructure, all without causing user facing downtime.

As senior engineer at MapJam, I successfully navigated a full platform transition from PHP and JSON flat file storage to node.js, Heroku and MongoDB. In addition, I deployed our first OpenStreetMap infrastructure on to AWS EC2 and later Google Compute Engine.
