  • CEO & Co-Founder

    2019 - 2022

I co-founded and served as the CEO of Atrato. I started the company, took it from an idea while I was in college to a leading BNPL and payment solution in Mexico, strong PMF with millions of dollars in revenue, dozens of employees, and over $20 million in funding from investors such as Y Combinator (YC W21), Accel, Architect Capital, Soma Capital, and several great angel investors. I stepped down from my role as CEO and handed the reins to my co-founder and former CTO, who is now successfully leading the company in its next phase of growth.

    2022 - 2023

Helping founders. Participated actively helping and investing in startups, interviewed hundreds of teams, and worked alongside the team. Helped improving our software, program, demo day, and selection process. I quit with Ramon (1st employee of Platanus Ventures) to start a company together.

Evidika is an alternative asset manager. I learned investing in the public markets from scratch, working on a long-only hedge fund strategy with a value-oriented philosophy and a long-term investing approach. I managed investments along with CIO, deployed millions in USD achieving above market risk-adjusted returns. At the age of 21, I was recognized for my investment research and ranked top decile globally by a panel of senior asset allocators, including Michael Mauboussin, on SumZero's Top Stocks 2019 research: www.sumzero.com/sp/TopStocks2019. Portfolio decisions in various situations, including full due diligence, regulatory changes, and emotion-driven market conditions. Complex situations such as hostile takeovers, acquisition offers, management changes, proxy fights, and bankruptcies/reorganizations. I left to start Atrato.
