Tech lead on a team at X (formerly Google X), Google's semi-secret research and development lab, working on a confidential moonshot project at the intersection of biotechnology and artificial intelligence. Led machine learning for early pipeline project, managed team of 4 scientists and engineers, designed machine learning and computational biology strategy, oversaw data and computational research collaborations, and collaborated closely with project lead to incorporate AI into vision of project.

Founded and led international medical hackathon to promote collaboration and innovation in medicine and engineering. To date, MedHacks has been attended by thousands participants, raised over $500,000, and has partnered with the likes of Blue Cross Blue Shield, KPCB, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Google, and more. Projects developed at MedHacks have range from at-home carpel tunnel therapies to phone-app that diagnoses degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s. 2015 - Founding Director • Launched an annual, international medical hackathon with the mission of catalyzing health technology ideation and development. • Assembled and led team of 13 students and faculty advisor in the top ranked Biomedical Engineering department. Served as principal director for 2015 event. • Built relationships with dozens of biotech startups, technology incubators, life sciences companies, and venture capital organizations. Raised >$70K for operations from likes of Google, KPCB, 500 Startups, and more. • Served as primary developer and designer, creating and maintaining medhacks.org website and all graphic designs. 2016 - Chairman
