    Founded and led international medical hackathon to promote collaboration and innovation in medicine and engineering. To date, MedHacks has been attended by thousands participants, raised over $500,000, and has partnered with the likes of Blue Cross Blue Shield, KPCB, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Google, and more. Projects developed at MedHacks have range from at-home carpel tunnel therapies to phone-app that diagnoses degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s. 2015 - Founding Director • Launched an annual, international medical hackathon with the mission of catalyzing health technology ideation and development. • Assembled and led team of 13 students and faculty advisor in the top ranked Biomedical Engineering department. Served as principal director for 2015 event. • Built relationships with dozens of biotech startups, technology incubators, life sciences companies, and venture capital organizations.
