The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), also known unofficially as the "Nudge Unit", is a UK-based global social purpose organisation that generates and applies behavioural insights to inform policy and ultimately improve people's lives and communities. As a Policy Advisor, I led on a portfolio of projects across a range of countries and policy areas, with a particular focus on justice and security, online harms and digital policy. I ran behavioural science capacity building workshops and programmes for governments and NGOs in the UK, Armenia, France and Italy. I was also the personal Policy Advisor to the UK Managing Director, providing proactive and reactive advice on pressing policy issues for the UK Government. Whilst at BIT, I moved to Paris to help set up our first European office.
