I worked on the Investment team of ffVC with two Partners of Operations, a senior associate and three General Partners. ffVC has 75 active portfolio companies, $180M assets under management, and focuses on investing in artificial intelligence, drones, robotics, financial technology and enterprise software start ups. I was responsible for evaluating deals and covering portfolio companies. I performed financial analysis and interpreted company and financial data to help the team make investment decisions. I conducted company and market research, prepare written materials, diligence reports and investment memorandums.

Strategy Consultant

Worked in a team of 6 and proposed a plan to lower the average age of the Needham Bank checking account holder. We performed Research to provide the bank with a Go-To-Market Strategy for a marketing campaign to encourage 3 personas of Gen-z & Millennials to sign up for checking accounts with the Bank. The research was inclusive of cost projections and potential account acquisition numbers over time.

I work with a team that organizes 30+ professional development workshops per semester. MuggedCake produces all-natural, long-lasting, and instant mug cakes. Using pouches holding dry mixes for baked goods, we can turn the instant food industry on its head. By providing dehydrated, pre-portioned self-contained pouches of the components to make a mug cake, we will revolutionize the instant food market. According to National Geographic, around 1/3 of food is wasted from farm to table. Through this solution, businesses and consumers can enjoy our products increased shelf lives, fast paced production process through rehydration and microwaving, lack of waste due to minimization of expiration and packaging use, and allergen friendly properties to suit various dietary needs.

Debt Financing Sales & Operations Intern

Streamlined operations and assisted team in raising $800K+ per month, directly assisting my Managing Director. Qualified businesses as potential clients for lines of credits, term loans, MCA loans and other financial products by speaking to company executives and by performing cash flow and leverage analysis using the company’s income statement, balance sheet, tax returns, bank statements and other financial documents. Worked on 20+ advisory deals and raised ~$100K for a qualified client over two rounds of funding. Successfully conducted performance analysis of the PMF Capital $1.8M debt investment fund and conducted a marketing campaign that successfully engaged 11k+ new clients within 5 weeks between December and January.
