NUImpact is a student-led impact investing initiative at Northeastern University. We built a student led and managed fund with two goals in mind. To make impactful investments in the local Boston community and to provide an experiential learning experience for Northeastern students to gain hands on impact investing experience. I sit on the investment committee, alumni advisory board, and serve as the community and economic development industry advisor. I also usually teach two classes on sourcing and due diligence best practices every semester.

Highlights: Sourced and/or worked on our investments in MedRhythms, Opendorse, Hudl, mTrade, Pacha Soap, Fairlead Integrated, DHI Holdings, Cady Bag, TPG Plastics, LBU, Knoa Software, Advanced Enviro Systems, ModernMD, and Cleveland Rocks. Founding member of the sourcing team: developed scalable sourcing strategies, marketing initiatives, and operational processes that are now the established standards of the team. Led the thesis development, structure, capital deployment strategy, and fundraise of Empower the Change Fund, $200MM investment fund supporting racial equity alongside our Chief Investment Officer and Chief Impact Officer (the name I picked even stuck).
