Former member of the board of directors overseeing general strategy, customer aquisition and project review. Also acted in a lead role for developing partnerships and new technology evaluation.

    Coinverse is the first fully functional "Bitcoin Bank" in South America, offering a suite of consumer and merchant solutions for Brazilians to transact in bitcoin. Coinverse is the first company in Brazil to offer a two-way bitcoin ATM, online exchange platform and wallet solution with bill payments (boletos) and remittance funcionality. It is fully KYC/AML compliant with an intuitive interface and strong customer service. Successfully launched the firm, oversaw technical develop, developed market strategy to fit the needs of the Brazilian consumer, obtained significant traction (Coinverse has approximately 6000 active users) and negotiated the sale to one of South America's largest universal Bitcoin platforms. Together with a team of 5 employees, oversaw technical development of the platform, operations, marketing, PR and branding strategy, financial control, accounting, legal, compliance and the M&A process.

    •Responsible for all project management, financial control, technical coordination, contract negotiation and execution of a portfolio of 8 wind generation projects totaling 240MW. •Responsible for engineering and development of a portfolio of wind projects into competitive assets for execution including all financial and technical preparation focused on minimizing cost of energy. Won the 2010 leilão with 150MW at one of the highest PPA prices of the year (R$136/MWh) •Led financial, technical and overall suitability analysis of potential acquisition opportunities totaling >1500MW of wind projects and >100MW of solar projects. Closed 3 acquisitions totaling 100MW. •Responsible for all green-field project development in wind and solar including land acquisition, technical, legal and financial analysis, installation of measurement campaigns, monitoring, resource analysis and data integrity verification. Executed on deliverables to ensure quick acquisition of high capacity factor areas in both wind and solar. •In charge of developing Energisa’s generation asset services division in wind energy in order to execute operation and maintenance contracts for Brazilian wind projects.

    •Responsible for all project management, financial control, technical coordination, transport coordination, commissioning completion and overall customer interface of two projects in Brasil totaling 176MW under the PROINFA program. •In charge of all procurement activities for cranes, transport and installation services including supplier selection, interface and financial management. •Responsible for all sales support including project pricing, subcontractor reviews, scope verification, contract negotiation and tender bids.

    •Responsible for all management activities of two 50MW projects, including regular coordination with the customer, project resource management and management of subcontractors. •Performed all site management duties and led a team of more than 50 supervisors and workers, erecting turbines in extremely adverse conditions in Inner Mongolia, PRC. •Used 24-hour scheduling and a strong relationship with site staff to increase utilization of on-site equipment and maximize working hours during suitable weather conditions. •Increased lines of communication, which improved site works, erection speed and the customer’s understanding of wind projects, in spite of significant communication barriers.

    •Worked as part of the negotiation team on AIM Powergen’s SOP Projects (42xV82 1.65MW) and Creststreet’s Dokie Ridge (48xV90 3.0MWs) closing both above required contribution margin. •Led the Vestas internal review of the Hydro-Quebec Request for Proposal (RFP) for 2000MW of wind. Performed analysis of the RFP and created solutions to meet the local content requirements. Co-presented the findings to the President of Vestas Americas. •Performed a detailed analysis of the Canadian Wind Energy market. Responsible for indicative proposals for different customers across Canada.
