Thomson Reuters acquired Pangea3 in November, 2010 for approximately $100 Million resulting in a 10X return for Pangea3’s first lead investor and returns of 3X to 7X for investors that followed. Pangea3’s business grew more than 50% in the two years following the acquisition with expanded operations centers in the United States and a lawyer headcount of 1,0000 in India making Pangea3 the then largest employer of lawyers in India. Thomson Reuters resold Pangea3 to EY in 2019.
